Update - We are investigating an issue where the Advanced CPQ v3 GET Prices endpoint may return a Completed status before all external supplier pricing calls have fully finished processing.
This can result in API responses indicating completion while supplier pricing is still reconciling in the background. The TCW UI continues to display the final, accurate pricing state once all supplier calls complete.
Engineering is actively working to resolve the status synchronization issue. Updates will be provided as progress is made.

RCA:

Reported Issue: On February 19, 2026, customers experienced slower quote generation and intermittent request failures in CPQ. These issues were caused by degraded responses from the Network Intelligence API V6, which affected downstream services including CPQ.

Duration: Approximately 35 minutes, from 5:25 PM to 6:00 PM UTC.

Cause: A recent platform update temporarily slowed responses in the Network Intelligence API. Both the API errors and the resulting CPQ slowness were tied to this same underlying issue.

Solution: The update was quickly reverted, and the engineering team applied a configuration fix while monitoring system performance to ensure stability. Future safeguards include version-pinned deployments, staged rollouts, and additional validation to prevent similar incidents.

RCA:

Reported Issue: Users experienced intermittent platform slowness, delays in loading certain features, and temporary session interruptions during normal usage.

Duration: February 10, 3:03 PM UTC – February 10, 3:51 PM UTC (48 minutes)

Cause: A high-volume data retrieval pattern temporarily increased memory utilization within the platform's search and indexing layer. This led to reduced responsiveness and triggered automatic service restarts. While the platform is designed to scale under normal traffic conditions, this specific request pattern consumed more resources than anticipated before the system's workload-balancing mechanisms could compensate.

Solution: The affected services were stabilized and the cluster rebalanced to restore full performance. Preventative measures include enhanced monitoring and logging, adjustments to resource allocation within the virtual machine cluster, implementation of safeguards for large data retrieval patterns, and improvements to batching and paging strategies. These actions strengthen the platform's resilience, scalability, and automated recovery under peak traffic conditions.
