Reported Issue: Between 12:10 PM and 12:20 PM UTC on September 9, users of the CPQ Accounts module experienced issues with the Accounts page failing to load. Requests remained in a continuous loading state and did not complete.
Cause: Our distributed cloud based infrastructure scales to meet demand dynamically. In this use case the traffic patterns related to subquote activity triggered the scaling process, but the pace of scale was not fast enough to prevent some users to be impacted for a very short period of time.
Solution: The system self-recovered as traffic levels normalized, allowing services to return to expected performance without manual intervention. To ensure continued reliability, we are enhancing our traffic monitoring, refining auto-scaling configurations, and strengthening our load management strategies to better accommodate usage spikes across the platform. Additionally, we are implementing improvements to further strengthen overall system reliability.
