Cause: A recent platform update temporarily slowed responses in the Network Intelligence API. Both the API errors and the resulting CPQ slowness were tied to this same underlying issue.
Solution: The update was quickly reverted, and the engineering team applied a configuration fix while monitoring system performance to ensure stability. Future safeguards include version-pinned deployments, staged rollouts, and additional validation to prevent similar incidents.
